Ch – Chips
Sharp stepped crystals that aren’t included in position Irregulars, crystal fragments, irregular intergrowths/aggregations. The group includes also stones with big uneven splits or uneven deep splits. Stones that lost crystal shape are included.
1q: 1st quality. Loupe clean stones.
2q: 2nd quality. Minor defect in a central part or small defect in a peripherical zone.
3q: 3rd quality. Single small defect in a central part, single interpenetrant ingrowth (embedded crystal), loupe clean cubes.
