1. The distributives for for Helium Rough and Pacor Client

The distributives for for Helium Rough and Pacor Client are available now.

Main program and main components that are not recommended to be edited by user and can be edited only by Lexus/OctoNus will be unpacked to system folder:

• for Helium Rough:
  C:\Program Files\OctoNus Software\HeliumRough 6
• for Pacor Client:
  C:\Program Files (x86)\OctoNus Software\Pacor Client 6

Components which are open for user edit will be unpacked to data folder:

• for Helium Rough
  %ProgramData%\OctoNus Software\HeliumRough
• for Pacor Client
  %ProgramData%\OctoNus Software\PacorClient

usually %ProgramData% is C:\ProgramData\...
In this folder PacorBatLocal.ini or HeliumBatLocal.ini could be written load of any user appraisers, pricelists, reports.

Reports and cuttings will be loaded from folders Cuttings and Report both from system folder and from data folder.

For Helium Rough for upgrade from previous version to new one it is necessary to copy (this should be only once and will not be required ion future versions):

• HeliumSystem.bin to data folder %ProgramData%\Octonus Software\HeliumRough
• HeliumStart.mmd to data folder %ProgramData%\Octonus Software\HeliumRough
• HeliumDrivers.ini to data folder %ProgramData%\Octonus Software\HeliumRough
• files _Zoom3.bmp and _GridZoom3.bmp to subfolder System of data folder %ProgramData%\Octonus Software\Helium Rough 6\System

If there were tuned other modes, like half-resolution mode or others, then it is necessary to copy others files like _Zoom...bmp or _GridZoom...bmp

If client used non-standard reports or cuttings then it is necessary to put them in data folder.
If client used non-standard pricelists and appraisers then it is necessary to put them in data folder and write their load in HeliumBatLocal.ini, located in data folder.

There are two files since this version - HeliumBat.ini in system folder and HeliumBatLocal.ini in data folder. File HeliumBat.ini is prohibited to edit, but in file HeliumBatLocal.ini it is required to move all non-standard, customized for each client, settings which were in HeliumBat.ini before. As usual, it is CopyCutting, LoadCCFAppraiser, LoadParsAppraiser, LoadExternalGrading for custom cuttings, appraisers and pricelists.

2. Solution Sawing panel

Solution Sawing panel for solutions with 3 and more diamonds do not draw lines which intersect any of solution diamonds.

There is list of sawing layers with numbers on the right part of Scene and indication of correspondence between numbers and layers.

3. New Window mode

New Window mode for PacorCleint / HeliumRough is available. It requires new DX.dll. Program runs in Window and has renewed Main Top menu.

There are sections File, Import/Export, Photo, Panel, Hardware, Optimization and so on.

4. Editor for Appraiser Intervals and MyGIA appraiser

4.1 Load

To make Appraiser editable it is necessary to change /file to /edit in Heliumbat.ini like this:

loadExternalGrading /edit Facetware\MyGIA.txt

4.2 Edit

Go to Tab Appraiser in the top menu and check box Appraiser Interval Editor to open Editor:

NOTE Color of EX, VG, GD, FR groups in Appraiser Editor and in Marking-out panel / Rough Classification panel / Diamond options panel are a little different because Appraiser Editor uses 16 mln colors but Pacor main panels - only 256 colors. But tones are similar so client should be able to make matching without big problems. Or change colors of Appraiser Editor panel in MyGIA.txt file in section [quality] and use colors with RGB among available in Inner/Colors panel.

1. Intervals with names _Restriction and _Variation could be edited. To switch between them there is switcher
2. Values could be edited in table or on graphical lines at the bottom.
3. Bold values means that it differs from saved in file.
4. Parameter has blue circle on right if any value differs from saved in file.
5. Button reverts all values of selected parameters to saved file (selection by Ctrl or Shift like in Windows).
6. Each change could be Undo/Redo
7. Button Save saves current appraiser and reload this appraiser immediately to Pacor. Errors will be displayed in Display panel if any.

5. Windows-GUI view for Open/Save panels

Open/Save panels are converted to Windows-GUI view. There is Pacor Client Application link is left upper corner which contains link to user's folder of Pacor Client and link to root folder of program.
