Description of Cushion parameters
 To create new cut Cushion select Cushion from menu Cutting:

To create new cuts Radiant and Square radiant select P-O-M-H-R from menu Cutting:
  
 The new algorithm P-O-M-H-R allows to create several cuttings: Pear - Oval - Marquise - Heart - Radiant

 Girdle sides and girdle internal angles are available on the Girdle asymmetry picture in the reports for straight edge cuts: princesses, step cuts, radiants, square radiants and others.

3. New Algorithm for Automatic control of holder height
 The Automatic control of holder height option  allows to adjust a holder height position if device has not stable holder  height because of device temperature enlargement. The program does the check-up  automatically while the device is not scanning. If the system discovers small  or critical offset of holder height the operator will see one of three warnings:
  
  
  
 To continue  work with scanner need to make cleaning  and checking holder position:
 
  - Remove diamond (if it is inside       the scanner)
 
  - Press button Camera to see holder surface
 
  - Clean holder surface
 
  - Close cover of scanner before checking
 
  - Press button Clean & Check
 
  - System make checking holder       position
 
 
As a result  of checking holder position the one of the follow warnings appears:
 
  - System could not calculate vertical holder position
 
  - System has found negligible vertical holder shift
 
  - System has found small vertical holder shift
 
  - System has found critical vertical holder shift
 
 
1) System could not calculate vertical holder  position
  
 This  warning means that system could not calculate vertical holder position. Possible  reasons are diamond is on holder, the dust is on holder. Try again:
 
  - Remove diamond (if it exist in       the scanner)
 
  - Clean up holder surface
 
  - Close cover of scanner before checking
 
  - Press button Clean & Check to calculate       vertical holder position one more time
 
 
If the  system could not calculate vertical holder position in the second time the  follow warning appears:
  
 In this case the scanning process will be blocked. Please  contact to support service for adjusting holder position. 
  Note. If try to continue working with  scanner the follow warning appears:
  
 2) System has found negligible vertical holder  shift
  
 System has found negligible vertical holder shift. Holder  was moved on ... mm.  
System will work with previous holder position. Press button OK
 3) System has found small vertical holder shift
  
 System has found small vertical holder shift. Holder was  moved on ... mm. 
   
We  recommend press button Set to update  vertical holder position. If you sure the holder is really clean. 
Press button Continue to ignore this shift and  continue scanning stones if you sure the shift provided by other reasons, dust  on holder and so on, not because of device temperature enlargement. But this might  increase errors in values of diamond parameters during scanning.
 4) System has found critical vertical holder shift
  
 System has found critical vertical holder shift. Holder was  moved on ...mm. 
Press button Set to update vertical holder position.
 4. Accuracy of defining the directions of minimum and maximum diameters is increased
 The accuracy of defining the directions of minimum and maximum diameters is increased from 0.5 degree to 0.01 degree. Because of this the values of minimum and maximum diameters are changed. Maximum difference in comparison with previous version of software is reached for cuts with long girdle facets like emerald cut. Also the difference is significant for square fancies like princess, radiant and etc. 
 The model construction is not changed.
