Main facets
Applicable to rounded Fancies / Marquise, Oval, Pear
Main facets are divided into: "Crown mains facets", "Crown nock facets", "Crown
other facets", "Pavilion mains facets", "Pavilion nock facets" and "Pavilion other facets" groups.
See figure 1 and figure 2 below.
Slope angle
parameters are measured for mains, nock and other groups of facets: crown mains angle, crown nock angle, crown other angle
and pavilion other angle.
Star, upper and lower girdle facets
Applicable to:
- Rounded Fancies (Marquise, Oval)
Star, upper and lower girdle facets are divided into: "Wing" and "Point" groups. See figure 1 and figure 2 below.
Slope and azimuth angles are measured for wing and point groups of facets:
star point facets angle, star wing facets angle, star point facets azimuth, star wing facets azimuth and etc.
